About the CPD Course

This one-day workshop is designed to help nurses in clinical settings gain didactic and practical experience with the clinical skills needed to insert a peripheral intravenous catheter (IV). The course covers the key elements for vein selection, location and identification, choice of supplies and equipment, principles of infection prevention and potential complications of IV therapy for Adult and Pediatric patient.
